North Coast Concussion Management (NCCM)'s team is committed to bringing the very latest science in concussion evaluation and treatment to every school team and student athlete in our area, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
Our Mission
To raise funds and enlist community partnerships to assist all student athletes in need with the financial aspect of concussion care.
To raise funds to assist schools and districts with the implementation of such concussion management programs.
To assist local school athletic programs to compliance with California law regarding concussion management.
To identify standard procedures and training materials to assist schools, athletic directors and coaches in concussion recognition and appropriate care.
To assist with access to trained medical professionals in all the area’s major health networks for students suspected of sustaining a concussion in order to ensure proper care regardless of the athlete’s insurance plan.
To educate schools, coaches, parents, student athletes, medical providers in related disciplines and the general public on the prevention, diagnosis and safe treatment of concussion.
